Making glass beads: an introduction
Have you always wanted to try making a glass bead on a torch?
During this 1-day workshop you'll learn the basics of the lampworking technique as you make a number of glass beads yourself under the guidance of Janice Wood. You'll learn to make beads of various shapes (e.g., donut, round, cylinder, barrel). And after that you'll learn several techniques to decorate them (including using multiple colors of glass, adding dots, making and using stringers to enhance your design). You don't need to bring anything except your curiousity!
